The 2017 Beaver Island Eco-Fair is a celebration of nature and sustainability. Our focus is promoting solutions in ecology, renewable energy and local food systems. The fair features local and regional green vendors, sustainable technology, arts, music, environmental action & education organizations. The mission of theBeaver Island Eco-Fair is to showcase sustainable solutions, and demonstrate that Beaver Island is a regional leader in the promotion of renewable energy, healthy food systems, and community resilience.

  • Friday, June 23
    • 4:30pm – Guests/Campers Begin Arrival BIBCO,  Island Airways
    • 6:00pm – Campsite setup, Campfire Cookouts
    • 7:30 – 10:00pm – Bonfire @ The Brother’s Place / Book a room 231-448-2204
  • Saturday, June 24th
    • 9:30am – Pick-up location at the Beaver Island Tour Office for HBCSTW to the meeting location at Tara’s Meadow (email celticbodyprayers@gmail.com)
    • 10:00am – Noon – How Beaver’s Can Save The World – An Eco-Adventure visiting Island sites – Speaker Seamus Norgaard
    • 12:00pm – Return trip to the Beaver Island Tour Office

1:00pm – 5:00pm – BI Eco-Fair – Renewable Energy Tech, Local Foods, and  Environmental Education Showcase @ Heritage Park
