Supporting the Cultural Arts in Rural Communities

Did you know…the first festival was on a flatbed trailer and that the three people who had this idea were not going to invite anyone! Can you believe it? Thank goodness for the fourth person who invited everyone…amazingly 75 people + 40 Burton family and friends showed up for a total of 115. Now over a 1000 attend BIMF each year.

With the help of our donors, Beaver Island Music Festival has been creating lasting memories since 2003 by bringing beautiful music to the island with this fun, family friendly event. Approximately 1000 talented individual’s have performed a diverse and wide range of musical genres on our stages and Beaver Island since 2003.

Due to our unique location and significant growth, donations are necessary to cover operating expenses, such as administrative costs, production equipment, and the growing expenses of the musicians that perform. You donations play a vital role in bringing artists and visitors to Beaver Island each year increasing tourism, local commerce, and building a thriving community.
