Paul Sachs is thrilled to part of the Beaver Island Music Festival Organization! He lives in Holland, MI with his wife Lisa and two daughters – Helen (10) and Ruby (5). As a family, the Sachs’ attend music festivals as much as they can – BIMF being one of those ‘can’t miss’ events. Wheatland Music Festival is also always on the top of the list. Paul served on the Wheatland Board of Directors for 6 years (2011-2016). One of his greatest accomplishments with the Organization was spear-heading the design and construction of new performance venue on the Festival grounds – The Rhythm Stage. This remarkable, one-of-a-kind venue (in part because of the beauty and functionality of its design) is nestled in the woods and serves as a testament Wheatland’s commitment to traditional music, dance, and percussion. Paul continues to manage The Rhythm Stage (programming, volunteers, enhancements, etc.) Professionally, Paul is Director of Planning and Performance Improvement for Ottawa County, MI and Executive Director of the Great Lakes Ag-Tech Business Incubator.
